How do I order a cake?
You can make contact with me via telephone, email, use the online enquiry form or call in to see me personally. 

Can I order my cake via email or phone? 
Yes of course, if you have a clear idea of what you want and you can also email me a picture or sketch.

Do you deliver?
Yes, we will carefully pack your cake and personally deliver it within the Nelson/Motueka region.  If you have chosen to decorate your cake with fresh flowers, we can liase with your florist at the venue.  Please contact me for delivery options nationwide.

What size cake do I need?
This depends on the cake flavour, the occasion, number of guests and whether it will be served as a dessert or with coffee. 

How do I decide on a cake design?
Inspiration for cake colours and styles is easy to find if you look through bridal magazines or our online photo gallery.  We also have an extensive range of cake magazines that we can lend out to help with your decision making.  Bring along a picture to your first consultation, as well as swatches of your dress fabric and samples of your flowers so we have an idea of the theme for your occasion.  Our experience in cake design will help you to decide on the best cake to suit your needs.

Can I hire a cake table from you?
Absolutely.  We can provide and set-up a small table to display your cake.  Table decoration ideas include; layed tulle or other material draped over the table, place bridesmaid bouquets around the cake, decorate with fresh ivy, flax or other flowers and fauna, spinkle rose petals, feature a special knife and display a visitors book.

How far before my event should I order my cake?
Wedding cakes can be booked in up to 12 months in advance, but no less than 4 weeks.  Other cakes can be ordered 1-2 weeks before.

What payment methods to you accept?
Cash or cheque on delivery, of bank deposit prior to delivery.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, the remainder paid in the week prior to the event or on delivery.
